This is the result of the very first time I attended the Leslie-Lohman Museum’s Gay Men’s Erotic Drawing Workshop. I hadn’t drawn the figure from life for 5 years before this, and NEVER drew anyone I actually find attractive, so yea, mind sufficiently blown.
He is still one of the friendliest models ever and knows exactly what erotic figure drawing is all about– Stays still, gives us good poses, and keeps that beer can of a dick totally stiff the whole time! Such a trooper, this guy!
At one point there was a weekly Drink and Draw at a local queer bar that used to have geek-themed sessions where models would cosplay. This life drawing set was started in that period (pre the Batman 2022) when the Riddler was the primary goto cosplay for lanky guys.
(In fact, my specific reason to go to any comic con for years was to gawk at tall twink bulge in skin-tight Riddler suits.)

Say hello to Juan, this cute fuzzy little dude with gorgeous eyes. Good model, great dick, even though he didn’t wank. Instead he took a few poses where he was kinda… squeezing his junk. Looked painful to me, but he was able to do it for 20 minutes so it must have been fine. I bet he’s into CBT.
So this model’s name is Mark but one of the guys who directs the drawing group likes to give the models crazy names so we knew this model as “Van-Go,” because of the resemblance to Vincent Van Gogh.
Van-Go as you can see is a tall, hung, ginger, super friendly and a damn good model. He was pretty eager and stayed erect pretty much all night.
After the fourth pose, he was stretching and kinda jokingly stretched his legs to display his butthole. When asked if he could hold that, he said “Sure! This is comfortable!” So that became pose #5 and begat a series of ano-centric poses, lol.

This scruffy guy is a dancer which always makes for an excellent art model. The framed piece is in the permanent collection at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay Art. At this show it was next to some works by big deal artists– we’re talking history book names! I was very proud to be among them!
There exists a photo of this young Russian artist, posing nude, holding a framed painting, a nude self-portrait. Not surprising he’d choose himself as a subject, given his unique beauty. His alabaster skin and pale blue eyes contrast sharply with his jet black hair which coats most of his tall lithe body. Slender from head to toe, excluding his penis which was about as thick as his wrists.
He was reclined and pleasuring himself for the final 20 minute pose but hadn’t quite finished at the end. We gave him a few minutes, but it was late and people were getting antsy, so we kinda clapped and thanked him for posing.
HE COMPLETELY IGNORED US AND JUST KEPT GOING.
Eventually he ended up splashing ball juice all over. We clapped again, very happy we waited.
This session was mostly long poses so I couldn’t really take advantage of this smooth voluptuous chub’s surprising flexibility!
Revisited this one because the model and pose are unique among my stuff. Klein was incredibly smooth and glossy, which I’d have been okay with if it was natural but I could tell he just shaved all over. So I kinda had to fix that for the new 2019 version.
Another model who also dances, this pierced, tatted-up dude was in excellent shape and able to hold fun and difficult poses for a rather long time! A lot of the other artists were caught up in the tattoos but I was more into capturing his musculature and anatomy and porn-starish genetalia. I knew I could fake the tattoo in Photoshop later- lol.
Including this here because some of my more fine-arty patrons appreciate that I can design patterns. If you look, you’ll see subtle textile design influence all over this site.

With two models posing together, it’s difficult to capture likenesses of both guys in the allotted time. But since I liked both of my depictions of these models from previous solo sessions, I went into this with renewed resolve.

Chase (2011)
The one directly above is a redo from 2015 to reflect how this guy looks now.
He’s jaw-droppingly attractive in the face and has the pumped-up muscular bod of a monster, all adorably compacted into this 5’5″ frame.

Easily in my top 5 or so of figure drawing nights, Alec’s most striking feature is his light hael eyes. But nude, the Puerto Rican flag tattoo on his butt kinda stands out too.

Always suspected our life drawing group used escorts but this was the session that confirmed it. I was like, “Hey, isn’t that a hooker from the back of Next magazine?” I never forget a face. He takes out a box in NYC’s weekly fag rag advertising sensual bodywork with 9 inches. It’s not quite nine but definitely, abnormally, beautifully, delectably THICK!

Small guy with like the tightest muscles you’ve ever seen. It made for some really buff he-man drawings, almost forcefully combined with his boyish stature. He-Boy? He had a very big bush, really veiny arms and a hairy little ass that was like a shelf.

Cute German dude with a winning smile who seemed genuinely tickled at the idea of modeling. You couldn’t wipe that grin off his face- except for in this, the odd Dracula pose.→
Purely coincidental, and something no one really noticed till after everyone was done (because his fat twitching uncut sausage was so distracting.) But the combination of pose, expression, jacket and the fact that that drape was bright red all led to very vampiric drawings of that pose.
So I kinda consider this set to be somewhat of a failure in some respects. Mainly, I show it to demonstrate that I like to experiment.
That said, if you look past what literally looks like a constant tornado of dirt and glass, you may see an accurate depiction of sexy young Bennie with his big beautiful pouty lips and his big beautiful turgid member.

For cutie Chris’s body, imagine a black version of one of those ancient Roman god statues (with much much bigger testicles.) Rumor was that he was straight, so for the first half of the session, the artists’ demeanors could be easily summed up with the words “drooling stupor.” But after Chris came around and mingled during the break, we all got to see how sweet and friendly he was.

The mood of the night dramatically shifted to more jovial, but his posing was so focused and serious, it was difficult to capture that cheerful vibe.
Even though I went back into some of these drawings, this is definitely a session I wish I could do over and get some shading in there because the way light bounced off those rock hard jet black glistening muscles was fucking amazing.

Mike’s Pit (2011) With his boyish good lucks, friendly personality and mammoth sized penis, Mike always turns out a crowd. But it’s usually a disgruntled bunch as Mike continually proves to be one of the hardest models to draw.
It’s still always a fun time though since he’s got a great sense of humor and is good to draw with props and costumes.

Some artists were asking the director to ditch it but I loved it! It was great practice and it’s not like I’m ever going to have the opportunity to draw this again.

Distinctly remember not being attracted to him when I drew these. The long snakey dick was fun and interesting but not as mouth-watering as some of the others I’ve drawn in person. He is oobjectively an attractive man, just not my type.
So let’s fast forward to a weeks later when scanned this set of drawings and suddenly got really turned on by them! I may have went into a prehensile penis fantasy.
Victor Steele (2010)
Tried experimenting with oil pastels for the 3 separate times I drew this model / porn actor.
He’s fun to draw because he’s got the muscle tone of a strapping, virile young man but at the same time, he is also quite slender and dare I say, even graceful! Then there’s that elegant swan-like neck and calm, composed demeanor that just puts you at ease.
Oh, and there’s also that porn star cock.
I used to see him a lot at my neighborhood bar and gogo-ing at different bars all over the city. Once, after being caught staring, I came over and said, “You are really hot but every time I see you, all I see is my crayon cartoon version of you.” He laughed.
No man likes to be called elegant or graceful– I wish there more manly words to describe what I mean. Rest assured, Victor Steele seems really masculine. He is a former Marine and served for a long time. Once he said that, his perfect posture made so much more sense. U.S. military men always have amazing posture. For the pose above, he stood at attention for 20 minutes.
Worked up one of these for the Dirty Little Drawings show. Even though I tured him into a rando, I feel like it still looks like him!
He dumbfounded us all by posing in his uniform. I asked him, “Um… is that even legal… posing in your uniform?” He replied in the most serious tone ever, “Why wouldn’t it be? It’s my uniform.” I love that answer.
The session was booked solid within an hour of the e-mail announcement. Chad’s unit is actually more impressive in person than in porn.
A considerable degree of effort is required to keep that monster hard so Chad was wildly pulling on it for most of the poses. A little masturbating during the pose is no big deal, particularly if the model can do it subtly and not break the pose. But because Chad’s dick is so massive, the amount his arm moves to jerk it off totally changes the pose.
A few of us wanted to let him know that keeping hard isn’t as important as keeping still. But at the same time, there were people there who wanted him to be constantly playing with it. The emphasis on their pieces was more about the eroticism of the moment rather than the accuracy of the pose. It’s a tough balance to maintain in this type of art.
And even though no one asks, I always feel the need to mention my referencing 80’s glamour graphic design. I thought that would unconsciously appeal to the older crowd that actually buys art.
So I get the pic of Cesar, a handsome young shorty playfully showing off his abs with a backwards cap, strategically tweezed eyebrows and a cocky grin on his face. Naturally, I assume he’s going to be this confident, showy stud on the model stand. Nope.
Not sure if this is just a thing in NYC but most of the Latino strippers here are straight. (Well, “straight.” lol) Such was the case with Jonny, but don’t hold that against him– anyone who stage names himself after a video game character is a-OK in my book– lol.
So yea, Jonny is a tall, hunky erotic dancer with beautiful lips, nice meaty tits, and a big floppy uncut piece of manflesh between his legs.
Wanted to work largescale this session so I brought some bignormous paper. But it’s just not in my nature to draw so huge. So instead, I incorporated more than one pose onto a page.
Damian, whom the director was calling “our Nordic prince,” was very tall with wild, impossible, anime hair, big adorable protruding ears, long angelic blonde eyelashes and a wide-eyed expression.
It made for an easy caricature but someone did make fun of them that night calling them Ken doll drawings. It bothered me at the time but I am now confident in the fact that everyone who’s ever met this guy recognizes him in the drawings right away.

Riley (2011)
Blonde with big blue eyes, a smooth muscular frame, boyish good looks and this innocent, almost dopey grin, Riley is a popular model. But we’ve all realized he’s anything but innocent.
It’s always something with this guy– backstage scandals, hell on-stage scandals, but my favorite is his offer to allow each artist to touch him for an extra small fee.
He’s posed quite a number of times and every session there seems to be a new outrageous story. I’ve only drawn him twice, but whether it’s his antics or his big fat ass, he always brings out a huge crowd.
Riley has, quite simply, the largest ass I’ve ever seen on a man. It’s very plump and sticks out quite far. He also has big meaty thighs which kind-of balance out the butt, making me think he does soccer or something. But yea, red beans and rice didn’t miss him. At all.
Had the pleasure of drawing this model several times. He’s really hot, with these gorgeous smokey eyes, tight bod, thick dark hair in all the right places and a tight little butt that’ll make you salivate. But the features I am in love with are that big ol’ proud nose and that awesome backwards-hanging cock! It’s fascinating! Soft, it looks pretty normal but once it gets hard, it kinda turns around.
Kinda my perfect model, this guy hit a lot of major points of attractiveness for me: hairy, ginger, huge nuts, big pre-cummer, big shooter, even sideburns! I would write more but it would just turn into straight-up erotica.

This is one of my favorite stories about this drawing group. The pic we got showed a thin, smooth, young guy lying coyly on a bed, draped in white linens that only covered a small section of his flacid uncut peepee. So, I packed up my pink and baby blue construction paper and geared up for a night of barely legal twink-themed fun.
I don’t know what the deal was but if you put that picture next to the guy I drew that night, you would not think they were he same dude. Either that pic was several years outdated or Luc just recently hit puberty.
Granted, he was still thin and smooth– but his face… was just way more… grown-up than in that pic. He had a big ol’ man chin! Totally threw my twink mindset off.
And yeah, humongous dong. Like huge. You guys know me, I’m not normally taken aback by big cocks. But it surprised me cuz in that pic, it was just sooo tiny!
Oh and this prop to the right is not made up. During set-up between poses, one of the artists says jokingly to the director, “So when are you gonna break out the teddy bear?” The director replies, “Should I? I did bring one…” I drew someone cuddling a teddy bear while jerking off.
In the end, the workshop was full of disturbing drawings of little boys, some guys claiming they’re going to have to shred them. Anthony didn’t want to take his home but was able to sell them all on the spot!

Of course, Anthony was right, and the paper was not great to draw on. But let’s spin it this way: the paper does kind-of compliment the model; he was a kind-of effiminate. I love a hot muscular swishy guy!
Striking guy indeed, you of course notice his insane Blanka-do first, then his pretty lips and eyes, or if you’re like me, his hefty bulge! We’d come to find out that bulge was from his huge nads! And I’d just like to point out that “fuk yea” happened. Yea, he was a talker. A very hot session!
Was in a day-dreamy mode during this mesh and went back and forth between drawing this model’s likeness and making him a random superhero. I asked for suggestions as to who this character could be and we came up with a sex android named Redline! hehe

Solid muscle dude with an unusual look– but in a good way. Something about him just felt very… elven. It was more than his short stature and big ears– it was in his face. Although I realize the face drawn here can look more devilish than anything, trust me when I say this guy’s smile lit up the room.

First time drawing a couple at the erotic life drawing group so I really had no idea what was in store. Although poses like what was drawn in the beginning of the session are kinda what I expected and as I’d come to find out, kinda the norm for duos. So, yunno, somber poses where the guys are embracing.
But when you add Corey Corey into the mix, throw expectations out the window. It’s easy to see why Corey is a popular dude all over the internets. He’s super tall, like 6’6″, very outgoing and has no qualms showing off his big ol’ floppy monster. I was not at all prepared for what came after the “softer” poses. Corey fucked this dude’s face like they were at home. The guy’s drool got everywhere!
It was too hot a scene for many but I managed to get some drawings. What always strikes me about these though, especially with the ones that I’ve redone, is the stark contrast in tone. These lovey-dovey hugging ones just feel so different from the raunch-tastic slobbering face-fucking ones.
Sam, the adorable heavy-nutted Isreali pocket gay I’ve had the pleasure of drawing on 3 separate occasions. This set of drawings is from the first time. The other two times, he posed with Doug Repetti and I turned them into my Big Guy/ Little Guy series. In that series, Sam muscles are de-emphasized to further play up their size difference. The truth, as you can see from this set, is that Sam is about as muscular as Doug R…. just a foot shorter.
Martin (2010)
It was a full house that night because the pic that went out a week earlier showed a butch-looking muscular Martin about 10 years younger and 100 pounds lighter. People were mad but once they got over it, a lot of them produces some amazing work. In the end, a very welcome departure from the usual type of model we draw.
Tim Dax (2011)
One of my few googleable models, Tim Dax is a former bodybuilder, turned actor, turned porn star with awesome superhero tatts to match his all-star personality! Super friendly and just totally offered up the story of how and why he got his tattoos on the art model stage like a monologue or something.
Kinda scared of Prince Albert piercings but it was fun to draw something new down there. And for a first timer, Tony was not shy at all!
But the surprise bonus was when former model Brandon came out and pose with. Brandon was really into Tony which really caused a shift in the energy of the evening. As they got more hot for each other, holding still became less an issue for them. It’s difficult to draw two figures in perpetual motion so a lot of the other artists gave up. But I’m the man and was able to produce something I’m proud of. I think I captured a sense of movement.
Had difficulty with this guy’s mug and realized I couldn’t just leave it out of ALL of the drawings- haha. His personality lent itself toward cartoony stylization though.
Gonzalo (2007)
Fitting to wrap up the page with the set that consistently gets great reaactions from everyone. Though it’s from a long time ago, and only the second erotic life drawing workshop I ever attended, it still holds up. Gonzalo’s muscular frame with those meaty bulging legs and thick uncut dick had all the artists swooning.
In person, he’s a lot nicer than these images would suggest. His beautiful sable locks cover his eyes, a feature that usually indicates a sense of friendliness, especially in my work. So we lose that but gain this quiet mysterious ruggedness that creates this perfect unique specimen of raw masculinity that a lot of youze seem to respond to.
