Preston Practice
Here’s a quickie sketch I did last night. I did it to see how fast I could get it done and to see if that Blanka coloring style would work again. Well, it’s not exactly like that piece– it has much less hard edges. I think I might work on developing this style more and maybe use it in my next job.
Preston’s expression here is decidedly serious because people are always saying how humorous my work is– even when I’m not tying to make it funny. So yeah– Preston is SOMBER and CONTEMPLATIVE here! Imagine him thinking about a man he shot last week or something.
Oh– but I guess he wouldn’t he wanking his dick while thinking about heinous crimes he committed. Oh well, whatever– it’s just NOT supposed to be comical.

Oh look, an big ugly block of text! I've been drawing all my life. I can't remember when I started but it was early. I've always been intrigued and inspired by animation and comics. My earliest influences were Charles Shultz's Peanuts and later, X-Men comic books. It didn't take very long for me to start drawing erotic images. Even before junior high, I was drawing nude Disney men in my sketchbooks.

Hey JC… Wow — Preston’s lovely! I really love the look on his face. It’s very inward and pensive, which adds a lot of depth to the character! Plus the coloring on him is really beautiful — he almost looks like a painting! It’s very striking.
Another gorgeous piece, my friend. Very sexy and very artful!

That’s a really nice portrait – like Patrick said, serious, and seriously hot
I like the coloring a lot too.
I just finished tearing through the “Persuasions” chapters the other day. That’s excellent stuff! I love the way you mixed over the top soap with genuinely funny dialogue and sexy art. Any more coming? Soon?

Actually I enjoyed the work and thought the pensive look was great.

LOL– thanks guys! I mean, I know comedy is where my heart is and I don’t think I can ever escape it. But when someone says “that image was really hilarious,” rather than “that image was really hot,” I wonder if I’m doing my job as an erotic artist. I wanna get people off, dammitt! LOL
Preston + Caleb??? We’ll see. I agree, that will be super hot.
I’m working on Phase 2 of Persuasions! Stay tuned!

I’ve not seen your stuff as funny unless you were working humor. I was saw/see it as erotic art.

Oops! “Was” should be “always.”

Hot! Like to see more of Preston…

Thats a very decent style for coloring. It plays very well with the comic book look if you ask me. I say stick with it. Is it time consuming, or a saver? and OMG! delicious dick.

I’ve only found your stuff humorous when you meant it to be. Generally I find your stuff super-hot, even when it IS humorous. I have to say, your X-Men flash animations, watching them go from full costume to full erection… those were some of your hottest works yet.
So, yeah, I wouldn’t worry about whether or not people are getting off to your stuff. It’s pretty much guaranteed.

It’s intended to be a time-saver, but that’s never the case. I will say, it’s a little more freeing becasue I’m using the stylus more like a brush rather than making endless precise selections with the lasso tool.
And guess what– those X-Men flash animations aren’t done yet! I still have 2 more left. I can’t wait to get around to posting them.
Thanks for the compliments and for stoppin’ by, gang!
