Charlie X’s Angels

What do a scientist, a dance teacher, a spy and a government bureaucrat all have in common? Well, in the world of classic X-Men, they’re each powerful women with extremely close ties to the X-Men, despite possessing
no super powers whatsoever!

Each of these gals had almost invaluable roles and each was created and written with Claremont’s trademark carefulness and specificity.

The idea that there are these highly-skilled non-mutant people scattered throughout the globe who secretly take on the burden of the X-Men’s mission in one way or another is intriguing.

I am very surprised that you didn’t put in Misty Knight! (Who was Jean’s roommate after she became Phoenix)

And disgusted that you added in that traitor Valerie Cooper! I can’t stand that skank!

But I still think this is a good pic cause I don’t recall seeing it done before.

Hey bubby! Yo, as much as I jones to draw Misty Knight, I have to remind myself that she is only in a small few issues of X-Men and is more considered a Heroes for Hire/ Iron Fist character. Whereas the other chicks i chose were more X-mainstays.

But yea, if you think that I’m not drawing Misty Knight at some point, yer crazy! She is my favorite non-X-related Marvel lady!

Jean: “Damn, my new best friend is an African goddess and my new roommate is an African-American goddess. I need to up my fierce game. Fuck that, I’m the fuckin’ Phoenix now, bitches.”
