Revisiting an episode of my high school school newspaper comic strip Backpage Backtalk, published in January 1998! Drawing Nico again 22 years later was fast & fun due to muscle memory of my 18 year old somewhere between Tiny Toons & Ranma style.

I love this so much!! Daddy Nico can get it! It’s awesome how he’s reclaimed his sophomore 8-ball shirt and turned it into a muscle-tank. He fills it out MUCH better now! 😉 😀
Thanks buddy! I had so much fun with this. Felt 18 again- lol. I’m glad you noticed he’s repurposed his teenage shirt. The sophomore year joke in the original comic was that he was uncontrollably horny so I like to think that’s Nico’s j/o shirt- lol.
