Mii Obsession

So we bought a Nintendo Wii a few months ago– not because there are any cool games for it or anything– just to keep up our appearance as the obnoxious gay yuppies that have every new tekkie thing to come out.
One of the coolest thing about the Wii is the interface. You can create little avatars called Miis and play as them in certain Wii games (like WiiSports and WiiPlay.) Of course, I made the Anti-Heroes, as you can see below.

And below, take a look at some of the other Miis I made. Back Row: Large Marge and New York. Middle Row: Ripley, Two Weeks, and Nomi Malone. Front Row: Rhoda and Rosie O’Donnell.

Hmm, this is the strangest thing I have seen since Joan Rivers had her last face lift.

I guess I never really got into games like this, I mean I love my Star Trek Voyager Elite Force game for my P.C. I kind of feel as though I have missed out on something. Even as a kid I was never into games like this. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that my parents weren’t the richest people in the world and they really did struggle keeping a roof over our heads and food on the table, but what I lacked in my childhood, was made up by the two most magical people in my life, my parents MADE magic things happen by introducing me to comics and the things that I hold close to my heart even now that I am 2 years of 40. So I guess that I didn’t really miss out on that much after all.

That was a real Kleenex moment wasn’t it?

Well JC, you have sparked some curiosity with this gadget, I must go and source one out and see if it will fill the void of not having a boyfriend LOL!

-Well, it DOES have a vibrating controller– lol.

Yah, I grew up with videogames. I was the nerd who the cool kids pretended to befriend just so they could play my nintendo– haha. My parents were into them too. Collectively, my family’s owned every game system ever. Including ColecoVision, Vextrex, and the Virtual Boy.

Some nights we went hungry– but we always had the latest video game. lol

WOW! Your parent’s sound so cool.

My parents really encouraged me with my fantasy world, Star Trek, Superman, Batman, Cartoons and such. Though my Dad passed away 3 years ago, my Mum still encourages me, when she visits she usually brings along some kind of Superman toy that she finds along the way. She still buy’s me Superman jocks and T shirts LOL!

As for the vibrating controller – I’m not sure it will be big enough LOL!

    Big Hugs!
