Emerson Seated

By | muscles, Omega Phi, Original Art, wet | 2 Comments

Here we’ve got another figure drawing I’ve turned into an OC; Emerson, the cute frat boy imbued with the power of Venus. Big floppy wiener version in the Members Gallery under Work > Omega Phi. I’m doing these weird “middle crops” because I don’t want the teaser image to lose the feet! I’m really digging the way I’m drawing feet lately…

Here Comes a New Character

By | hairy, Original Art | 4 Comments

I call this guy Tucker. This is the first real drawing of him, the pose taken from a William figure drawing session. Tucker is based on a type of guy I’ve been fantasizing about lately– this tall, lean “cool nerd.” Full fat dong version is in the misc work section of the Members Gallery on Anti-Heroes.net — check it out! Oh, and the original ink drawing of this is available for purchase, for whoever’s interested…!

Maximum Cumage

Kind of a sequel to that old drawing I did, Spider-Taint– lol. Full version in the Anti-Heroes Members Gallery.

Also– who remembers how in the Maximum Carnage game, before you fought Carnage, he’d be all splayed out on on rock with this giant open-mouthed smile? I used to think that pose was hilarious. Me and my brothers would like do the pose at random times to get a laugh outta each other.

Majesty and Breakout

Didn’t think I could make a butterfly sexy, huh? lol. See just how sexy in the Members Gallery on Anti-Heroes.net!

Breakout is actually a repurposed birthday gift for my partner who thinks the Battletoads are really hot. While drawing him, it dawned on me what features I think my partner responds to— mainly the extreme V torso. I never noticed it before but the Battletoads have a huge shoulder to waist ratio, something my partner likes in actual human beings as well. So it makes more sense now why he liked those guys. (Because it certainly wasn’t for those craptacular games or the painful animated pilot.)

Speaking of that pilot, does anyone remember how you first saw that? For me, it was an 80’s Christmas, when some networks played a marathon of cartoon pilots that never got picked up. Also how I first saw Pryde of the X-Men and Defenders of Dynatron City— which you kids need to look up. Amazing show.

Oh, and of course, there’s a sexy naked version with a nice loose foreskin (lol) in the Members Gallery on Anti-Heroes.net! AND don’t forget to go and vote here on which species you want to see next!

Recent Acquisitions Show 2013

By | figure drawing, Original Art, twinks | No Comments

Hey so a a 20 minute drawing I did at the workshop which (Charles Leslie bought that night on the spot) is in Leslie-Lohman‘s Recent Acquisitions exhibition!

Now, if you know my work, you’ll probably recognize why I don’t consider this to be one of my best pieces. I can’t help but see what’s wrong with it– in fact, I probably would have thrown it out if it wasn’t purchased. But the age old saying goes, “With art, everyone sees something different,” and in this case, the curators are seeing something that I don’t, so… um… that’s cool.

Another cool thing is that it was next to a Charles Demuth and a Bernard Perlin– they’re like in history books, man!

RemiX Roster Select

By | Fan Art, Marvel, muscles, video games, X-Men | 4 Comments

What many don’t know about my X-Men RemiX project is that it has always been inspired by video game design sensibilities. I’ve come to the realization that video games are perfectly valid media to tell stories; specifically stories I’d like to tell.

This game would combine elements from all my favorite existing X-Men games; the side scrolling arcade engine of Konami’s X-Men, the simple but effective design of the 16-bit X-Men platformers, some RPG aspects of Activision’s X-Men Legends, and the panache of Capcom’s X-Men fighters.

The JC aspects come in the form of an ENORMOUS playable cast (it’s kinda one of the things I love about the franchise) and of course my bulgy colorful art style– hehe!
