Came across this incomplete but hot fan-art of Donjovan, the hunky villain of the Myth comic series by Sean-Z and finally decided to finish the drawing some 15 years later. Easily one of the sexiest vampire characters I’ve ever come across. X-Version on my Patreon!
Pose is from a recent live figure drawing but have been seeing this character, a backwards capped anthro mountain lion dude, in my head for as long as the Brutal Ballers project has been around. Riddle Me This D (2023)
At one point there was a weekly Drink and Draw at a local queer bar that used to have geek-themed sessions where models would cosplay. This life drawing set was started in that period (pre the Batman 2022) when the Riddler was the primary goto cosplay for lanky guys.
(In fact, my specific reason to go to any comic con for years was to gawk at tall twink bulge in skin-tight Riddler suits.)
So one night cute scruffy Eddie shows up in a spectacular classic Riddler outfit, complete with the Riddler cane and delivered 12 playfully exuberant poses, which is as much Riddler tradition as an outta control bulge. Very much giving Frank Gorshin / Jim Carrey energy.
I know this was a lot but I really didn’t want to edit it down. Really fun poses, great wardrobe, awesome queer fanboy theming, as well as Eddie’s svelte frame and wrist thick unit inspired a little more work than what I usually put into figure drawing sketches, making for some of my favorite anatomy studies to date!

This bald but hairy daddy was happy to be ogled by us horny artists and seemed really turned on to be posing. In the moment, I remember wanting to use him to do some Rule34 Elmer Fudd fan art.

So 14 years after saying he’s nobody’s favorite, I’m redrawing Toad after seeing him riding Juggernaut in my head pretty much everyday.
Used this great 60 second gesture sketch from life drawing as reference (check out the video!) Hope this reminds me to be looking harder at my sketches while fleshing them out because it’s more fluid and dynamic than the pose in the finished drawing. Newest commission from a longtime client! Initial directive was to have Iceman riding an ice-restrained Human Torch but I of course had to overcomplicate it by adding Spidey, essentially making it a sequel to a 2012 piece which I’ll also include here.
