Figure Drawing: Peanuts

This week in figure drawing I kind of went to a place I never thought I could and turned the models into Peanuts characters.

Peanuts has a strong root in my childhood as I learned to read and draw by studying these big anthology books I inherited. I used to make my own weird Peanuts comics (but drew Lucy with longer hair) and from then on, my style slowly evolved into what you see on this site.

So, understand why I found it a little disconcerting that I “went there” but I just couldn’t help it. I saw Reed’s shaved head and all I could think of was Charlie Brown, despite Reed’s hairy bod covered in tatts and bulging muscles, and his huge uncut cock.

Once Charlie Brown was solidified in my head, the debate over who to pair him up with began, because as much as Billy’s lithe, smooth, young body suggested Linus, I resisted, quite frankly because I never really could draw Linus!

Figure Drawing: Martin

Here’s one for you bear chasers out there. Drawing Martin was a nice departure from the muscle guys we normally get in erotic figure drawing.

It was a full house that night because the pic that went out a week earlier showed Martin a lot younger and a lot more muscular. And I don’t have to dance around the obvious fact that a 20-something muscle boy’s gonna draw a bigger crowd than a 40-something husky guy.

But as Michi pointed out, it was a good night for drawing and painting because the artists weren’t as distracted. Indeed, there were a lot of great works that night, and I believe the reason was a combination of the new body-type and the fact that people were less distracted.

I however, being the whore that I am, wasn’t any less distracted than usual. Mesmerized by his body hair, I was determined to get it all down on paper, and thusly may have skipped a pose or two.

Figure Drawing: Sam

Today we have Sam, the adorable heavy-nutted Isreali pocket gay I’ve had the pleasure of drawing on 3 separate occasions. This set of drawings is from the first time. The other two times, he posed with Doug R. and I’ve been turning them into my Big Guy/ Little Guy series.

Yes, I have admittedly sometimes been de-emphasizing Sam’s muscles in the Daddy/Boy series to further play up the size difference between him and Doug R. The truth, as you can see from this set, is that Sam is about as muscular as Doug R…. just a foot shorter.

Oh, and in the actual session, that rectangle Sam is holding was really subway sign!

Figure Drawing: Paul

Kind of always suspected our Erotic Figure Drawing Workshop used escorts & porn actors
(or guys who do both) as models. But the night our eyes feasted upon the hard, smooth, chiseled muscles of Paul, my theory was confirmed. I was like, “Hey, isn’t that a hooker from the back of Next magazine?” I never forget a face.

The guy does indeed take out a box in NYC’s weekly free “gay guide” advertising sensual bodywork with 9 inches.
I don’t quite know who needs their masseur to have 9 inches, but good for them. I’d totally hire him if I had disposable income. 😉 9 inches may be a bit of an exaggeration though. It’s definitely

Darque Knights Return

Well, they don’t quite return… more like… debut. My good friend Anthony Gonzales was invited to have another art show at Chi Chiz, a gay bar in NYC. But instead of another solo show, he invited me and some other artists to exhibit!

All of us showing will have a comic-style bent to our work. And we’re all queer pervs, so expect some sexiness. And since Chi Chiz attracts a predominantly black crowd, most of our pieces will celebrate the black male and his beauty.

Each of these 5 drawings will be showing and available for purchase. These are all framed original one of a kind colored pencil and marker drawings on 8×10″ sized craft paper.

You may have seen some of these images in slightly different form on my site or in my books. Well, that’s because they are redos. I take my original sketch of said drawing, and instead of coloring it on the computer like I normally do, I’ll draw over it on brown paper. Bingo, instant original! XD

Figure Drawing: Bennie, Chris & Klaus

First up: Bennie. Bennie is a sexy young guy with big beautiful pouty lips and a big beautiful turgid member.

Before this session, I was wandering around the studio where I used to work like a madman, trying to find something fun to draw on. We had tons and tons of glitter and you know how we gays kinda can’t resist the glitter.

So I slathered some all over this heavyweight paper and tried to draw on it. It was quite difficult, as I had to constantly use the pencil to cut through the thick layer of glitter.

The resulting images look kinda cool in real life but doesn’t really translate in the scans. It looks like Bennie is posing in a hurricane of dirt and glass. #FAIL

Next up: Chris. For cutie Chris’s body, imagine a black version of one of those ancient Roman god statues (with much much bigger testicles.)

For the first half of the session, the artists’ demeanors could be easily summed up with the words
“drooling stupor.” Then, however, after Chris came around and mingled during the break, we all got to see how sweet and gentle and friendly he was, with his adorable baby-faced smile.

The mood of the night shifted to be a bit more jovial, but his posing was so focused and serious, it was difficult to capture that cheerful vibe.

But if we’re talking about models who’s smile was easy to capture on paper, then Klaus takes the cake.

Klaus was a cute German dude who seemed genuinely tickled at the idea of modeling for an erotic figure drawing workshop.

You couldn’t wipe that grin off his face- except for in the pose below…

This was a hot pose to look at, as his big uncut penis kept twitching from semi to full-flag. We were all so dazzled no one noticed that because of the red drape he was leaning on, everyone’s drawing looked like Dracula.

Figure Drawing: Pig Logan

This week in erotic figure drawing, we had a dude who brought along a few props from his
leather pig play collection. I wasn’t mucho attracted to him so the plan to turn him into someone else came about quite early.

The constant debate in my brain was whether to make him Wolverine, who garners me comments and accolade, OR a new self-created hunk. Then I got the idea– why not both?

So when you click each of these drawings, you’ll see piggy Logan with 4 different hairstyles, that’ll totally change how you look at him!

And yes, this model most certainly brought a penis pump to drawing…
