I admit, Chamber wasn’t my favorite on the team. But I very much appreciated his presence and felt he was a much needed jolt to the X-Men franchise.
But there was something I feel like they never really solidified… “What’s under the fire?” They say that his flesh was obliterated when he first used his power, but if there’s nothing there, why is there outline of a chin when he’s covered up?
Well, to solve this conundrun, my version of Jono does have flesh underneath the psi-fire. And let’s just say that maybe underneath it is a sexy angsty rocker boy!

As a matter of fact, even his gay love storyline with Rictor wasn’t enough to conjure up some iota of caring for me. But I told myself, “Well I’m definitely drawing Rictor… and these two are Marvel’s hottest gay couple right now. Gay comic boys are going to want both.” So, I kinda HAD to draw Shatterstar.
And guess what? Now, I think I like him! I guess I had to see him under my pen. And of course, drawing his cock (on Anti-Heroes.net> Members Gallery > Fan-Boy) also helped. So is it arrogance that the only instance of Shatterstar I care for is my own?
I really liked all the characters in Generation X. I really appreciated the thought and effort that went into these guys’ powers, looks and backstories. Alas, the series petered off into wackness like most x-books in the 90’s, but that doesn’t change the pure strength of those character designs. Each one just seemed so much more depthy than… say… any of the Academy X kids (blegh.)
Every time I look at my old fanart, the pieces I love the most are everything from my X-Men Remix collection. It combines my 2 main loves: X-Men and character design/redesign.

I’ve expanded it by adding some figure drawings and villian portraits. In fact, here’s a new one featuring everyone’s favorite Malcolm X metaphor, Magneto.

And here we have another piece from my Daddy/Boy figure drawing session. Bonus points if you can figure out which famous duo this is.
And not that I can’t draw Sonic from memory (because I went through a phase in my adolescence where he was kinda ALL I drew) but when I quickly Google Imaged “Sonic,” this pic to the right was one of the FIRST images to come up. The drawing is phenomenal in its own right, but the audio bonus track very much makes this the best thing on the Internet… ever.
