Figure Drawing: Victor Steele

I’ve got a big chunk of figure drawing for you dudes today featuring Eric, or as most of us know, Victor Steele, porn actor extraordinaire. Each of these are done with graphite and water soluble oil pastels. The pastel goes on the watercolor paper like crayon, but if you add a wet brush to that, you can get something that looks a little like watercolor.


Why are there so many of these up? Well, this is what I’ve amassed from three seperate non-consecutive figure drawing sessions with Victor. Over the months, I drew many other models in between the 3X I drew Victor. But I thought, since I’ve compiled so many of these pieces featuring the same model, I might as well post them all together. As I am a slut and usually don’t like to draw the same model more than once, the fact that I’ve drawn Victor Steele 3X is pretty unusual for me. I think this is because I really enjoy drawing him. I’ve come up with a caricature that I think works.

He’s so fun to draw because his body is somewhat deceptive. He’s got the muscle tone of a virile, strapping young man but at the same time, he is also quite slender and dare I say, even graceful! He does not have that default super-hero bod I always draw. He’s got an elegant swan-like neck and gorgeously toned, lithe body.


And of course it doesn’t hurt that he has a big dick, as well!

I know no man likes to be called elegant or graceful, and I wish there more manly words to describe what I meant. Rest assured, Victor Steele seems really masculine. He is a former Marine and served for a pretty long time. I can’t remember exactly how many years he said but it was enough to make me be like “wow.”

Once he said that, his perfect posture made so much more sense. People who’ve served in the U.S. military always have amazing posture. For the pose above, he stood at attention for 20 minutes.

Also, he actually posed a few times in his official Marine Corps uniform! We were all dumbfounded and drooling. Later on, I asked him, “Um… is that even legal… posing in your uniform?” He replied in the most serious tone ever, “Why wouldn’t it be? It’s my uniform.” I love that answer.

I think he lives in my hood as I see him all the time at my local bar. I’ve also seen him gogo-ing at the Cock. I was caught staring, so I went over and spoke to him. I said, “You are really hot but every time I see you, all I can see is my crayon cartoon version of you.” He laughed.

Current WIPs

I’m at one of those awkward moments in my work where everything I’m presently working on is close to being finished but not quite there yet. They’re also all really big projects, so it gets kind of daunting to jump right in and pick them up; which is what I should be doing today. Instead I think I might play Fatal Fury or watch Inspector Gadget on Roku. We’ll see…

Figure Drawing: Cesar

Never fails, every time I receive the erotic figure drawing workshop model’s picture in e-mail, my pre-conceived notion of what he’s going to be like always totally wrong.

So I get the pic of Cesar, a handsome young shorty playfully showing off his abs with a backwards cap, strategically tweezed eyebrows and a cocky grin on his face. Naturally, I assume he’s going to be this confident, showy stud on the model stand. Nope.

This kid was so nervous, he looked like he wanted to be put out of his misery every moment he was up there. What made it worse for him was that he (like all our models) had taken a little blue happy pill before the session and was throbbing hard the entire time.

As the night went on, his cock got harder and harder but he got more and more freaked out. It’s a shame because the kid was very attractive. Come to find out he was a dancer, so that’s where all the tight muscle came from. He was also very very short and very very smooth and glossy which added to the unwittingly innocent vibe he was giving off.

But all and all, for me, it was a pretty boring night. I had to make up the smile in this last piece. I hope someone likes these drawings.

Boytoon Adventures AVAILABLE NOW!

Hello kids– just wanted to remind you that one of Class Comics most highly anticipated books is out! Boytoon Adventures is 92 pages of your favorite Class Comics heroes drawn in a new sexy streamlined cartoony style by Bryce Peters! For those who don’t know, Bryce Peters is Patrick Fillion‘s pen name for this new style of illustration.

I’m really glad Class has put out this book. I like that even an artist of Patrick Fillion’s caliber recognizes the importance of diversity of illustration styles. Growing up I was always told that cartoons weren’t “real art” and sometimes you can’t help but let that criticism sink in. So it’s great that such a book like this exists because Patrick, being one of my idols, has pretty much validated the merits of cartooning in erotic art!

Divided into 6 chapters, there’s something here for any fan of gay art. Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Superheroes, it’s all here… covered in creamy white goo. My personal favorite story is The Ruse, starring Camili-Cat. Cam is Patrick’s #1 character, you can tell by the way he’s drawn– but in THIS book, Cam is rendered in the Bryce Peters style and I dare say this may be my favorite version of Cam to date. I think it’s because I like my anthro characters to be super cartoony. But whatever the reason, these 16 pages of Camili-Cat art is IMHO the hottest we’ve ever seen! The book also features Zahn, Ghostboy, Diablo, Locus, Mako Finn, and some of the men from The Initiation, making it kindof a Class Comics All-Star lineup.

Another figure drawing post-manipulated into an X-Person. I have a love/hate relationship with this guy. I like him on the X-Men, being the bad-ass, being the loose-cannon, saying and doing whatever he feels. I do not like modern Logan… this “James” stuff. I don’t like him on the Avengers. I don’t like him level-headed. I don’t like him as this “everyman” superhero.

I sure like drawing his chest hair though. haha.

“Oh, geez, another Toad post? Why does this guy like frikkin’ mushroom people so much? It’s frikkin’ weird!” LOL, I know, I’m sorry. But I am really excited for the new Mario game coming out this weekend. Not only will I finally get to be Toad again, but it’s a multiplayer sidescroller! …People, a MULTIPLAYER SIDESCROLLER! (cue spaz out)

So this week in figure drawing, I was kind of distracted (yes, I’m so de-sensitized to porn that two hot guys can be sucking each other’s cocks right in front of me and I can get distracted.) So I drew the models as Toads! Anthony was all worried that I would get kicked out for not taking the class seriously. Haha. What he doesn’t know is that I take Toad very seriously!

The models were very hot. Blue Toad in each of the poses is Doug Repetti, a hunky gay man about town who’s solid muscular body and ample genitals were a pleasure to draw. The other Toads are Adam, a model I’ve drawn so many times before that I decided to give him a different body type in every pose to keep it interesting to me. But the result makes Mr. Blue Toad look like the slut of he century! hehe!

Above is an experiment using this crazy paper Anthony had. It’s black wax or something, and then you scratch it away to reveal a multicolored pattern underneath. It was difficult to scratch if you don’t have the right tool. Also, there’s no erasing. But it made for a cute, fun drawing.

My Twitter followers know that a few weeks ago, I was home alone a lot and since I have no cable at the moment, I decided to watch all of my Super Mario animated series DVDs. I LOVED that cartoon as a kid and all my memories of why I liked Toad the most came flooding back. He as so awse. Here’s a screenshot from the episode that spoofed Mad Max where he became the TOAD WARRIOR. Get it? SO CUTE!

Toad was such a huge part of the toon but whenever that little bitch Yoshi came along, they unapologetically omitted Toad. That began my hatred for that bastard dinosaur. But now finally, come Sunday, I will get to control Toad, riding Yoshi like the subservient little punk he is, punching him in the face to get him to eat goombas.

Also, I’m over my issues with Toad being a race rather than one specific character these days. If he’s a race, then my drawings of hunky Toads that fuck each other are more justified.
