Figure Drawing: Roberto

As usual, got the guy’s pic in e-mail, wasn’t too impressed, but am totally confident that he’ll be way cuter in person. BOY WAS I RIGHT! So, I’m there, all set to draw, Roberto comes in, and though he has the most insane Blanka-like hairdo ever, I am, of course, immediately drawn to the huge bulge in his yellow sweatpants. Now, here’s my thought process: this could either be a) fashiony push-up underwear you buy from International Male, b) his actual huge dick, or c) his huge nads pushing his average-sized dick outward, creating the bulge. It was C.

You guys know I have a big ball fetish, right? So yeah, I was in hog heaven. This guy had balls that indeed rivaled Tyler‘s, the other model I swooned over months ago. Not only that, Roberto was just beautiful in the face– with big longing eyes and beautiful pouty lips. I mean what are the odds that the two models with the prettiest faces end up having the biggest testes too?!

Oh, and yunno what else? This “fuck yeah” is NOT made up! Oh yes, this guy was a talker. HOTE!

Maybe I made him prettier in my mind BECAUSE he had big balls. Maybe Roberto is not attractive at all. Maybe he actually DOES look like Blanka!! HAHA! Spotlight On: Jeveddo

Remember Supreme Dominion? My would-be fighting game? Well, I’ve decided to migrate the whole of the series over to my pornographic site. I will try to make a raunchy dicky version of each of the original character designs and give the series a category on Anti-Heroes.net. So rollover these two images for the reveal!



First up: Jeveddo. He is a very proud, self-righteous elf on a mission to eradicate all humans, believing he is superior to them. His weapon is a bokken, made from magical wood from enchanted elven forests.


I did the original Jeveddo drawing in 2002 and only drew this nude rollover addendum a few days ago. He was always the most popular character of this series, so I expect his fans to eat this up (except for my friend who hates that I draw him uncut. Sorry Dug, I can’t see an elf circumcising.)

Hells Yes Baby! More FanArt!

You kids have been busy, haven’t you? *he says perched at his desk, hands folded like Mr. Burns. This weekend I’ve gotten a ball-load of great new fan-art!

These 1st 3 gems are by comic artist extraordinaire, Silvano. I communicate with Silvano on and off as he was the colorist on Anti-Heroes #3. He’s a real amazing talent and I’ve always been in awe of his work. He’s got this amazing color sense that gives his characters this really animated look. Don’t they feel as if they’re going to jump right off the page?!

Perhaps, what I love most about these pieces is that Silvano, being so familiar with the Anti-Heroes, designed his renditions EXACTLY like me! He omits nothing– it’s all there, from Tai’s lip piercing to Caleb’s combat boots!

Please check out more of Silvano’s phenomenal work in the upcoming book called “Sworn” published by Class Comics. It looks pretty steamy!

Next up, is a graphic graphite rendering of our favorite trio by artist Bulldogg Bronx. I appreciate his soft rendering and the utter raunchiness of the pose! Favorite aspect: Tai’s eyes!

Finally, here’s something I’ve always wanted someone to do: a CG rendering of my characters! My partner is a CG artist ad he was working on it a while back– but abandoned it much to my dismay. However, I knew it was only a matter of time before someone sent me one. There are a lot of gay erotica artists working in Poser, and Thomas gives his own spin on my boys using this program. Favorite part of this one: Zeke’s eyes. They’re like… pools!

Anti-Heroes Join the Big Boys

While going through RSS feeds just now, mindlessly marking all the Roids and Rants & Shirtless Superheroes updates as “read,” (honestly those dudes update like 12 times a day! hehe) I came across a brilliant shining surprise. My good buddy Chubtoons who runs the blog Big Boy Toons did a spectacular fan-art of the Anti-Heroes!
I am in love with his technique in general. He always has these sharp, crisp lines in everything he does. So much detail and carefulness goes into his inking that I always enjoy seeing a no-color inked version of his pieces.

Each Anti-Hero has Chubtoons’ signature stylization yet seems maintain the personality I gave them. It’s such a treat when I get these unsolicited because 1) I LOVE it and 2) I’m super embarrassed and shy about asking my favorite artists to do them. It’s like– well, if they don’t know my characters, why would they want to draw them?

So yeah, it’s super flattering that Chubtoons did this and I hope he knows I appreciate it very very much! Thanks again, Jason!

Figure Drawing: Damian

An hour before my drawing sessions at Leslie-Lohman I am always scrambling to find something to draw with at my day job. We have a bit of an art studio there so sometimes I find something if use. This time, I scavenged some charcoal sticks and some thick corrugated cardboard which I got an intern to cut into 8×10 sheets for me. Normally I don’t abuse interns, but he eagerly volunteered when he found out what it was for.

The model this week was Damian, a beautiful blonde whom our director was calling “our Nordic prince.” Damian was very tall with wild, impossible, anime hair and big adorable protruding ears. All the traits made for easy caricature, but he also had this wide-eyed expression and angelic long blonde eyelashes which I struggled with. I don’t know why but while I was doing it, I wasn’t happy with the way I rendered his eyes. Only weeks later, after looking at the drawings next to actual photos of him did I appreciate them. I think, in the class, it felt too cartoony– big eyes and long eyelashes have tendency to come off cartoony even though I was totally drawing what was right in front of me.

Hey, wouldn’t this guy make a great Angel / Archangel? Maybe when I redo one of these pieces, I’ll give him wings…

Figure Drawing: A New Duo!

For this week’s figure drawing session, there was another pair of guys. One was James, whom I’ve drawn before, and the other was a new guy, also named James. When drawing two guys, though, it’s difficult to get a good facial likeness along with both whole figures. So, for this session, I drew the bodies and left the faces blank, to complete at a later time.

So then, after having the drawings for a little while, I ran through the list of likely muscley couples to turn these into. All-American and Golden Boy didn’t enter my mind for a while because it’s been so long since I’ve drawn them. But once I started the process, it seemed so perfect and natural that these drawings become this sexy duo!

Bloodlust

This piece was completed in part due to the user VicCreed on DeviantArt. After coming across this piece, I was taken not only by the drawing itself, but by the artist’s immense adoration for Sabretooth. VicCreed’s drawing shows that he thinks Sabretooth is hot for the same reasons I do– the stature, the fuzziness, the attitude… mmmm.
So, thoroughly reminded how much I want to bone Sabretooth, I took to this new drawing. Yunno, five years ago, if you asked me if I thought someone who looks like Victor Creed is hot, I would have been like, “oh god, he’s an aryan, dirty, sweaty, hairy, psychopath who looks like he has insane B.O.” Who would’ve guessed nowadays that phrase alone would be enough to give me an erection?

Figure Drawing: Adam (revisited)

This week, I give you more of super sexy Adam. This is the 2nd time I’ve gotten to draw this stud at the erotic drawing workshop I go to. To remind yourself of this guy, go to my first blogpost about him.


For my 2nd go at Adam, I tried to take a little more time and get a little more artistic and experimental than jut my usual graphite pencil on white paper. So these are graphite pencil, white colored pencil for highlight and a little black ink on orange and red construction paper.


You’d think that what turns me on about this guy are his big beautiful smokey brown eyes… or his soft, supple, toned muscular bod… or his cute little perky bubble butt… or his mouth-watering fat curvy tool… but no, it’s none of those things. It’s the nose! I am in love with this man’s nose! It’s just so… distinctive and pronounced– but not huge and ugly. It’s in perfect proportion– but still a strong and proud nose! Is this weird? Probably– I just called someone’s nose strong and proud…

Black History Month: Bishop

I wanted to do something for Black History Month… yunno, but this is like… a gay art blog. I’m not gonna draw Thurgood Marshall naked. Even I have limits. So, I thought I’d concentrate on something in contemporary black history– specifically black fictional characters. I think black fictional characters are relevant to mention in a discussion about black history. So let’s talk about my dude, Bishop.

Bishop was introduced in the pages of X-Men in 1991, into a comic industry that really did not have many black male characters to speak of. Luke Cage and Black Panther were virtually unknown to comic goers at the time. X-Men was riding a wave of sudden popularity around the time Bishop first appeared and joined the team making him the most visible black male superhero in the 90’s.

I’ll assert here that Marvel has made a concentrated effort to de-emphasize the character in the past few years. Slowly but steadily, Bishop was written out of the books starting in the late 90’s, early 2000’s. He appeared here and there but was not as much of a regular recurring X-Men team member. The final nail in the coffin was Marvel’s “Civil War” and “Messiah Complex” which essentially vilified the character.

Anyone who’s followed the character’s history knows that the story Marvel’s created to turn him into a villain is specious. The only way they’re able to get away with it is because comic readers today did not read X-Men in the early 90’s. Also, Marvel’s not worried about its responsibility to include positive black male characters because it’s pushed Luke Cage and Black Panther to the forefront as of late.

Too bad for Bishop fans though. You’ll have to just suck it up and accept that no one cares about one of the most culturally important characters of a generation. WELL, I still care about him! I care enough to draw him sexy and naked! Roll over the above image!

JC Does MidnightMan

Hey gang. So any follower of the gay erotic art scene should know IcemanBlue‘s work. He’s perhaps best known for doing long-format, super detailed, erotic web-comics featuring some of our favorite beloved mainstream characters. He’s made such a prominent name for himself over the years with the fan-art, most of his followers were heavily anticipating when he’d come out with some original characters.

That he has, and among them are MidnightMan. He is a Tomb Raider / Secret Agent and is the subject of the artist’s first printed work. Iceman’s gotten some of the most prolific artists in our field to do pin-ups of MidnightMan, including yours truly. Enjoy!
